Google Chrome is a new Web browser created by Google, the most popular search engine. It is designed to make the Web faster, safer and easier. The technology behind Google Chrome is the combination of technology licensed from Mozilla, AppleWebKit, Chrome and Safary.

Importing bookmarks/favorites or other preference like saved passwords and browsing history can be taken from Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. A standard address bar is also included on the top bar where you could see it and enter the URL. Multi-tabbed interface is one thing that we considered is a must for a web browser. No menu and toolbars available on the interface makes it less cluttered and clean. No additional plugins when in standard mode makes it faster to load and surfing speed is fast.

Security on Google Chrome is also enhanced by pop-up blocker and cookie control, you can also turn on the ‘Phishing and malware protection’ feature. SSL certificate management is also a feature in this fine web browser for safer browsing.

The major drawback on using this web browser is the lack of an RSS/Atom Reader. Because it is still in beta, you might see some crashes without reason (unknown error).
